I upgraded the PS4 game version to PS5 yesterday and made sure I chose that option and everything went fine. Where I messed up was I believe was in the opening/title screen where Continue, Load, Options etc are, there is an option to load the save data from PS4 to PS5 and I missed that so that's how I messed up. I lost everything I'd previously acquired. Lo and behold when the game loaded it loaded with no save and started from the very start so I had to start all over again from fresh.

When I fired up the PS5 and loaded Ghost of Tsushima and selected to load the saved game it asked if I wanted to save progress and I said no, which I usually do and simply load the game. First game I wanted to continue playing was Ghost of Tsushima with everything upgraded to the max (armor, weapons, charms et al). So when I got the PS5 and completed the set up process, one of the first things I did was to download the save data from the cloud to the PS5's internal system drive which was all well and good. I have PS+ so I knew I had coping of my save data automatically unloaded to the cloud. One thing I was concerned about was losing my save game progress for my games going from PS4 to PS5. I'm really enjoying my new PS5 after finally getting it last Friday. 115396, ELDEN RING game (disc on PS5) Poster Included Art Cards, Stickers and Woven patch Included, Collaborating with George R.R.
